AKIBA MIO SUPPLY CHAIN (HOMEBASED)

MAIN PURPOSE  

Perform the implementation of AKIBA solution in the missions and projects in collaboration with the MIO – Pharma and MIO – IT, ensuring contextual adaptation and effective uptake by users. The role ensures users are well equipped—through training, guidance and follow‑up—to apply and maintain the implemented component in line with MSF standards. 

JOB OVERVIEW 

The Mobile Implementation Officer will: 

• Learn technical and functional aspects of AKIBA to be the main point of knowledge for deployment.  
• Travel sequentially to the missions and projects (Africa, Middle East, South America, Asia) deploying the tool and ensuring that it is adopted appropriately. 
• Organize meetings with the field team in order to brief on the deployment plan and AKIBA relevance and define pre-requisites to be implemented before the deployment. 
• Supervise the implementation, the completeness and the timeliness of the deployment visit and reporting.   
• Remotely support each mission and project until handover of the support to the AKIBA team at the end of deployment.  
• Document and report the implementations status. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS 

• Set up and configure Dynamics 365 F&O tailored to the specific needs of each missions. 
• Train mission teams on the basics of AKIBA applications and provide functional support to ensure smooth adoption and operation of the systems. 
• Train supply teams on the advance functionalities of AKIBA applications and provide functional support to ensure smooth adoption and operation of the systems. 
• Monitor system usage and challenges during deployment, contribute to identifying and documenting missing functional guide steps, and provide detailed reports on progress and functional challenges. 
• Design and provide training to mission staff to enable correct and sustainable use of the implemented component.  
• Collaborate with others involved Project and supply teams, supply referents, and central ERP support teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient rollout of AKIBA. 
• Serve as the primary point of contact for functional issues during deployment, providing immediate troubleshooting and resolution of challenges. 
• Support change management by engaging stakeholders, strengthening ownership, and ensuring long‑term sustainability of the new way of working. 

SELECTION CRITERIA 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, including experience as a Supply Manager.  
• Experience leading, coaching or supporting teams in remote, security-sensitive or challenging contexts.  
• Previous experience training diverse teams, preferably in multicultural or humanitarian environments.  
• Knowledge of MSF supply standards, procedures and technical practices.  
• Good understanding of ERP solutions. Experience with MS Dynamics Supply Chain Management module deployment will be considered a strong asset.  
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is required. Arabic will be considered a strong asset.  
• Good computer skills, with strong planning, service orientation, teamwork and cross-cultural awareness.  
• Commitment to Médecins Sans Frontières’ principles and values. 

CONDITIONS 

• Homebased with frequent travels to MSF missions (At least 80% time in the field) 
• Full Time job. 
• For the position and if the candidate selected is legally resident in Spain, the salary will be at €34.912 (Level 4 according to IRP2 as entry point). If the candidate selected is resident out of Spain, the compensation will be subject to the local pay scale applicable to that country. 
• Contract duration: until the beginning of 2029. 
• Starting date: 1 November 2026
