Do your skills and experience not precisely match the requirements? MSF-OCBA is an organization committed to promoting diversity and equity by providing equal access to professional opportunities. Therefore, if you're interested in this position but your experience doesn't align perfectly with the selection criteria, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might be the ideal candidate for this or other positions.

GENERAL CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is an international independent medical-humanitarian organization, which offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed, or political affiliation.

AKIBA CONTEXT
MSF OCBA has a wide Supply Chain portfolio, managing not only Medical but also Logistical products over various continent such as Europe, Africa, South America, Middle East, and Asia. Its Supply Chain consists of ordering – buying – storing – shipping in all the places where it operates. It can be divided into: Medical and Logistical as well as International and Local, where Medical products are mainly bought internationally in Europe (France) and Logistical products locally (local market).

Apart from the Supply Chain processes functional requirements, AKIBA complies with the specific non-functional requirements linked to MSF OCBA operations: discontinued connectivity, satellite connection.

With the ambition to implement a new integrated Supply Solution, MSF OCBA started the AKIBA Project in 2020 with the objective to identify, select, and develop the best suitable solution for the management of its supply chain.

The implementation of AKIBA is planned over 6 years and will require a specialized team of between 10-13 staff with diverse competences in the fields of supply chain management, ERP implementation, E-Learning, Solution deployment and humanitarian operations. In 2025 we will enter the deployment phase of AKIBA, in which AKIBA is deployed in OCBA’s missions.
