GENERAL CONTEXT OF THE POSITION

Tembo is a learner-centered space that provides impactful and efficient digital learning and development opportunities, adapted for Global MSF Workforce to better contribute to MSF social mission — and aligned with MSF’s learning and organizational strategies.
MAIN PURPOSE
Provide technical expertise and operational support for the production of digital learning content across Tembo, promoting the mutualization and optimisation of best production practices, ensuring high-quality, efficient and consistent learning materials aligned with Tembo standards and MSF learning needs, in order to support effective learning experiences across MSF.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
This position is part of the Tembo Digital Learning Team and contributes to the production and implementation of digital learning materials used across MSF. The Digital Content Production Specialist supports Tembo stakeholders by advising on appropriate production solutions, developing digital learning content and coordinating production workflows when required. The role ensures that learning materials meet quality standards, are adapted to different audiences and contexts, and follow Tembo technical frameworks. The position also contributes to the continuous improvement of production practices through documentation, research and collaboration with internal and external partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide techno-pedagogical support, guidance & advice in any request regarding the creation of digital learning materials and activities, including production software and tools training. This role acts as the main focal point, trainer and advisor of digital learning production for Tembo and its partners.
- Conduct regular research on digital learning production trends including new tools, different approaches to training from a technical point of view, updates on existing software’s and new functionalities, including LMS functionalities related to production of content.
- Test, assess and contribute to the selection of the digital learning technology or solutions that best fits learning goals for Tembo partners and Tembo internal projects (taking into account both pedagogical and technological matters).
- Assess and manage external providers, including monitoring and rating performance to consolidate a strategic knowledge repository for digital learning production.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation for digital learning production best practices to constitute a technical knowledge repository (including different digital learning modalities, offline and mobile app contents).
- Design and develop digital learning materials upon specific request within Tembo using the organisation's standard tools: Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond and Adobe suite. Develop media and graphic content upon demand.
- Coordinate digital learning production projects both internally (MSF learning partners and Tembo team when relevant) and externally (for those projects that need to be outsourced or co-developed by different stakeholders).
Role’s specific elements
- Ensure, in collaboration with the Tembo Content Management specialist, the quality of the digital learning materials hosted in Tembo and that these are adapted to the needs and specifications of the course and users (type of audience, connectivity, digital skills, etc...).
- Contribute to the Tembo Content Management strategy in uploading, configuring and implementing digital learning material into the TEMBO Digital Learning environment (Totara platform).
SELECTION CRITERIA
Education and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Educational or Learning Sciences, or vocational qualification in digital learning, instructional design, or e-learning related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Training in LMS implementation, video/SCORM editing and management, or digital learning tools
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the production of e-learning materials.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in learning environment development, keeping up-to-date with latest trends in the e-Learning industry.
- Desirable experience in coordination and monitoring of e-learning projects, ensuring compliance with deliverables, adequate use of resources and quality standards.
- Experience working with MSF (desirable) or other non-profit organizations.
Languages and Knowledge
- Excellent level of English is mandatory, and good command of French, Spanish or Arabic is a plus.
- Strong experience producing SCORM content with Articulate Storyline and Rise.
- Vyond, Genially and H5P content production and edition is an asset.
- Good command of Totara is desirable.
- HTML basic knowledge desirable.
- Strong expertise in video and voice production and editing (preferably Premiere, Handbrake, Camtasia or similar).
- Experience in Design Thinking and UX is an asset.
- Experience with e-learning translation is an asset.
CONDITIONS
- Position based in any MSF-OCBA Hub: Amman, Bogotá, Dakar, Nairobi, Barcelona or Madrid. Final location will be subject to the employability of the preselected candidate (e.g., residency, work permit, etc.)

- Annual gross salary: HQ-3A level + secondary benefits based on MSF OCBA Reward Policy. Subject to local conditions.
