GENERAL CONTEXT 

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international independent medical humanitarian action-driven organization, which offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. The MSF movement is built around six operational directorates supported by MSF’s 21 sections, 24 associations and other offices together worldwide.

 

MAIN PURPOSE

Ensure the HRIS solution meets MSF OCBA’s functional requirements, aligns with HR policies, and supports coherence across HQ and field operations.

 

Contribute to the design, testing, training, and change management of the new HRIS to enable effective HR processes and strategic decision-making.

 

CONTEXT OF THE POST

This position supports the implementation of SAP/SuccessFactors as MSF OCBA’s new HRIS. The role involves collaborating with HR teams, technical partners, and other functional referents to ensure the system meets operational needs. It includes testing, documentation, training, and change management activities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS

  • Participate in HRIS solution design and configuration to align with functional requirements.
  • Review system configurations to ensure compliance with HR policies.
  • Propose workflow alternatives and functional optimizations.
  • Detect gaps and suggest customizations where needed.
  • Collaborate with other functional teams to ensure system consistency.
  • Report progress in functional activities and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Create and execute test cases; coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Contribute to training materials and documentation.
  • Train key users on the new HRIS.
  • Support data migration processes with accuracy.
  • Assist in change management by communicating benefits and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain functional documentation for future upgrades.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR process experience (Core HR, Recruitment, Onboarding).
  • Experience in HR systems implementation (ERP).
  • Project management cycle experience (testing, migration, training).
  • SAP/SuccessFactors knowledge is a strong asset.
  • Experience with other HR tools (Homere, Sesame, HR Matrix) is a plus.
  • Business analysis experience is an asset.
  • Experience in diverse, non-technical, geographically spread organizations.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, user-centered design, enterprise operations.
  • English (essential), French and Spanish (desirable).

 

CONDITIONS

  • Position based in any MSF-OCBA Hub: Amman, Bogotá, Dakar, Nairobi, Barcelona or Madrid. Final location will be subject to the employability of the preselected candidate (e.g., residency, work permit, etc.).
  • Duration of position: until project implementation, around 2 years (mid 2027).
  • Full-time position.
  • Annual gross salary: HQ - 3A level + secondary benefits based on MSF OCBA Reward Policy. Subjected to local conditions.
  • Starting date: 2nd of February 2026.
