FUNDRAISING SYSTEMS & ANALYTICS OFFICER (POSITION BASED IN LISBON OFFICE)
PT
Do your skills and experience not precisely match the requirements? MSF-OCBA is an organization committed to promoting diversity and equity by providing equal access to professional opportunities. We understand that women, people of colour, indigenous individuals, members of the LGTBI+ community, and other underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply for employment if they don't meet all the requirements. At MSF-OCBA, we strive to create a diverse, inclusive, and genuine workplace. Therefore, if you're interested in this position but your experience doesn't align perfectly with the selection criteria, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might be the ideal candidate for this or other positions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
At Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), fundraising relies on technology and data to build relationships with supporters, manage donations and make informed decisions.
We're looking for a structured, analytical and proactive Fundraising Systems & Analytics Officer to manage and continuously improve MSF Portugal's fundraising systems, data and reporting environment.
Reporting to the Fundraising Systems & Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of our fundraising technology ecosystem, ensuring that systems operate reliably, data is accurate and secure, and processes effectively support fundraising activities and organisational decision-making.
Working across fundraising, IT and external technology partners, you will take ownership of system administration, integrations, data quality, reporting and process improvement. You will translate operational needs into practical technology and data solutions, investigate problems, identify opportunities for improvement and help ensure that our fundraising infrastructure can support the organisation's continued growth.
This role combines systems administration, data management, analytics and process improvement. Experience in fundraising is welcome but is not essential. Many of the skills required for this role are directly transferable from CRM administration, business systems, data analytics, business intelligence, technology operations and other data-driven environments.
HOW WE WORK
Fundraising at MSF is a professional, fast-paced and highly data-driven environment. Although our purpose is humanitarian, we operate with the same level of professionalism, accountability and performance focus found in high-performing commercial organisations.
We make decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions. We rely on accurate data, robust systems and effective processes to understand performance, identify issues and opportunities, and continuously improve the way we work.
Success in this role comes from curiosity, ownership, analytical thinking and a genuine desire to solve problems and improve how systems, data and processes support the fundraising operation. Every improvement you make strengthens our ability to manage relationships with supporters, operate efficiently and make better decisions, ultimately enabling MSF to provide medical assistance to more people in crisis.
