GENERAL CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is an international independent medical-humanitarian organization, which offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.

MAIN PURPOSE
Learn technical and functional aspects of AKIBA in to be the main point of knowledge for deployment.
Travel sequentially to the missions and projects (Africa, Middle East, South America, Asia) deploying the tool and ensuring that it is adopted appropriately.
Organize meetings with the field team in order to brief on the deployment plan and AKIBA relevance and define pre-requisites to be implemented before the deployment.
Define and follow the action plan with the mission to ensure that the pre-requisites are in place before the deployment
Perform the implementation in the missions and projects in collaboration with the MIO – Supply and MIO – IT.
JOB OVERVIEW
MSF OCBA has a wide Supply Chain portfolio, managing not only Medical but also Logistical products over various continent such as Europe, Africa, South America, Middle East, and Asia. Its Supply Chain consists of ordering – buying – storing – shipping in all the places where it operates. It can be divided into: Medical and Logistical as well as International and Local, where Medical products are mainly bought internationally in Europe (France) and Logistical products locally (local market).
Apart from the Supply Chain processes functional requirements, AKIBA complies with the specific non-functional requirements linked to MSF OCBA operations: discontinued connectivity, satellite connection.
With the ambition to implement a new integrated Supply Solution, MSF OCBA started the AKIBA Project in 2020 with the objective to identify, select, and develop the best suitable solution for the management of its supply chain.
The implementation of AKIBA is planned over 6 years and will require a specialized team of between 10-13 staff with diverse competences in the fields of supply chain management, ERP implementation, E-Learning, Solution deployment and humanitarian operations.
In 2025 we entered the deployment phase of AKIBA, in which AKIBA is deployed in OCBA’s missions. This last phase is expected to last around 2,5 years.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS
- Supervise the implementation, the completeness and the timeliness of the deployment visit and reporting.
- Set up and configure Dynamics 365 F&O tailored to the specific needs of each missions.
- Train mission teams on the basics of AKIBA applications and provide functional support to ensure smooth adoption and operation of the systems.
- Train pharma teams on the advance functionalities of AKIBA applications and provide functional support to ensure smooth adoption and operation of the systems.
- Monitor system usage and challenges during deployment, contribute to identifying and documenting missing functional guide steps, and provide detailed reports on progress and functional challenges.
- Remotely support each missions and project until handover of the support to the AKIBA team at the end of deployment.
- Collaborate with others involved Project and medical teams, Medical Stock Management referents, and central ERP support teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient rollout of AKIBA.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for functional issues during deployment, providing immediate troubleshooting and resolution of challenges.
- Document and report the implementations status.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Relevant technical degree or diploma (e.g. Pharmacy, Supply Chain, or related field).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a pharmacist or in medical stock management.
- Previous experience in the humanitarian sector, including MSF, is an asset.
- Experience in leading, coaching, or working with teams in remote, insecure, or resource-constrained environments to achieve operational objectives.
- Good understanding of ERP systems; experience with MS Dynamics Supply Chain Management module deployment is a strong advantage.
- Experience in training and supporting diverse teams, ideally in multicultural or humanitarian environments, is a strong advantage.
- Experience in providing application support to non-technical and geographically dispersed users is an asset.
- Experience in writing user documentation is an asset.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Spanish is strongly desirable. French and/or Arabic are assets.
CONDITIONS
- Homebased with frequent travels to MSF missions (At least 80% time in the field)
- Full Time job.
- Annual Gross salary: IRP2 Level 4 (divided in monthly payments) + secondary benefits based on MSF OCBA Reward policy. Subjected to local conditions.
- Contract duration: More than 6 months, depending on operational needs and deployment.
- Starting date: June 2026
