GENERAL CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is an international independent medical-humanitarian organization, which offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.

MAIN PURPOSES
- To provide 1st and 2nd line (remote or in person) technical support to MSF missions for implementation of Local Finance Training.
- To contribute to identifying and analyzing the training needs and providing innovative training solution.
- To contribute to building the skills of the coordinators to give the necessary support to the financial teams in the projects.
- To contribute to defining (with cell and the mission) the Mission strategic procedures who allows to guarantee the finance minimum standards, focused in Finance Security and Budget Management. (will facilitate to identify training gap and prioritize the contents of the trainings).
TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Regular tasks:
- Monthly meetings with Admin pool manager to follow up on pool L&D needs (inductions, EOM, talent detection, etc.).
- Facilitation of monthly FINCO sharing meetings.
- Coordination of the bi-weekly MST Team meeting (not the extended meeting).
- Contribution and participation in the Extended MST Team Support.
- Participation in the Finop meeting.
- Participation in the monthly LU meeting.
- Maintenance of the Finance Learning Resources Mapping/ Central Point site in share point in collaboration with the Finance Technical Support.
- Chronogram update for follow-up of tasks.
- Online sessions catalogue update.
Development:
- Monthly Newsletter.
- Follow-up of ongoing development of material.
Direct support to Finance Staff:
- Inductions of new and experienced Finance Staff. (Individual and collective inductions).
- Webinar and interactive learning: management, communication, preparation and facilitation.
- Field visits: Support in local workshop for instance; support and/or inductions.
- Gap filling (1 in a year for a maximum of 1 month).
- Available for any online support requested from the field teams.
- Facilitation of specific sessions for the PPD admin, when necessary.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Education and Experience:
- Relevant technical degree or diploma
- 2 years’ experience in MSF OCBA Field Finance positions.
- Experience of Finance Coordinator in MSF OCBA is an asset.
- Experience providing training to adult learners.
- Fluent written and spoken English and French. Spanish and Arabic are an asset.
Knowledge
- Financial Technical knowledge.
- Management skills.
- Good written and oral communication.
- Ability to set priorities and organize his/her own work.
- Ability to create dynamic presentation and materials.
CONDITIONS
- Position home based. Frequently travels to the missions (at least 50 % of his/her working time with a regular term visits of 4-8 weeks).
- Contract: 12 Months (replacement due to Maternity leave).
- Full time job.
- Annual Gross salary: IRP2 Level 5 (divided in monthly payments) + secondary benefits based on MSF OCBA Reward policy. Subjected to local conditions.
- Practical working conditions while in the field are as per the MSF-E guideline.
- Starting date: 18th of August
